Metronome The metronome is a device that keeps time for you through a regulated aural, visual or tactile pulse in order to keep a steady tempo.
Electronic Guitar Tuner The electronic tuner will make tuning your guitar much easier. They typically have a needle or digital display when the string is in tune.
Plectrums (Picks) A plectrum, otherwise known as a pick, is used to strum and pick the guitar. Plectrums come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Typically thinner picks are more forgiving to beginners but you should buy an assortment to use as you progress.
String Winder This device will speed up the process of winding new strings.
Capo A capo is a clamp-like device that is placed across all six strings in order to raise the pitch of the guitar
Good Chair It is a good idea to use a comfortable armless chair if possible. Using a chair with arms could interfere in the way you should be holding your guitar.
Correct Posture It is very important that you practice correct posture when playing guitar. It is possible to injure your fingers, hand, arm, neck and back while exhibiting incorrect posture.
The best thing to remember here is to always relax.
